I currently have a older Linksys WRTGS series wireless router running DD-WRT micro. I've found that the 200Mhz broadcom chip in the box is getting crushed when running high network I/O applications, and I cannot fully utilize my new DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem connection through the device. I have 22Mbps(35Mbps burst)Down/8Mbps(12Mbps)Up internet. I need a N class wireless router that fully supports the DD-WRT full version, and can keep up with full I/O load on that internet pipe + some breathing room. I was hoping someone could give me a recommendation as to a solid fast wireless router that would fit the bill, without breaking the bank. Thanks for the recommendations.
