I disagree.
In my experience, the original Buffalo firmware works perfectly with both iPhone 2G & 3GS.

The strange thing is that DD-WRT 12255 release works quite well with the iPhone.
The later releases have been a disaster in terms of compatibility.

Check pages 6/7/8 of that post

Page 7 - the link above, has a download to a generic Ralink 3.3.0.0 firmware image.

Try that out and see if the I-Phone issues occur

Note - this is a Generic Image - and as such, you're taking a risk, as usual.

Worked on my WHR-G300N - loaded fine - a bit different config than DD-WRT.

See if I-Phone issues occur with this build.
