Incase I have not expressed my appreciation to DHC..

Thanks.. DHC downloads the cfe's, changes the macs to generics, zips them, then uploads them again..

All the stuff I don't have time or ambition for.

My server is close to putting online... Has anybody actually followed the links in DHC's sig.. Very impressive.. All the info anybody would need.. Pics, hardware, everything..

DHC is da man!

jeah you´ve been right. my last 30/30/30 was not successfull i guess. now all errors are gone and eth0.0008 comes up again.

will close the tickets.

other thing: can someone validate, that wifi connection gets lost, if "run command" under diagnostic has been pressed ? or the WAN disconnect / connect button. in both cases my wifi disconnects.

I spent about 12 hours today trying to get this version on my WRT600N v1.1 without any luck. The firmware installation seemed to go fine, but multiple 30/30/30 and even 60/60/60 resets would do nothing to revive it. Solid power light, but no web GUI and barely a ping response, except with a static IP set and only for a few pings on first boot after a hard reset. All I could do is tftp it back to an old version I had on my drive.

Sadly, now I'm back on DD-WRT v24-sp1 (07/27/0Cool mega - build 10012

Sigh...

which fw version etc etc? did try recover mode ? by pressing a short reset after power on, the power led starts to flash..then recover mode has been activated.

Specifically, I used this file:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/02-23-10-r13972/broadcom_K26/dd-wrt.v24-13972_NEWD-2_K2.6_big.bin

Upon further inspection, perhaps I should have been using this one instead:

http://www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/downloads/others/eko/BrainSlayer-V24-preSP2/02-23-10-r13972/broadcom/dd-wrt.v24_mega_wrt600n.bin

I tried a lot of different resets, nothing made much of a difference. Could just be that I used the wrong firmware.

13972 std-nokaid-small
610n V2
dnsmasq
snmp
ssh
ddns
upnp
no wifi on, acting as heavy traffic router only.
Running with 5 external ip's dnat/snat'ed.

Build 13972 see to run very well for about a day of heavy use. We have 2 server behind it pumping a large volume of traffic. After about a day of uptime we slow down to about 2/2Mbps instead of our normal 30/5Mbps. A reboot clears the problem.

Gonna turn of upnp since that was on for lazyiness and see if that help.

The scheduled reboot feature is not working....I had scheduled it for 6:30am daily to avoid this but it doesn't actually do it.

13972 appears to be working for me.

610n V2
rflow
dnsmasq
snmp
wl0 2.4ghz bg
wl1 5ghz n

In the middle of a huge download now. Seems stable, good rates.

No issues to report.

Is there a build (other than big/mega) with openvpn +jffs & usb? Would like a bit more space in the nvram so I can use the UI to conf openvpn and I don't need any of the captive portal stuff.

skarface,
When viewing the flow data produced by rflow, does it show that your local machines have both upload and download traffic? I'm running 13575 on a WRT610Nv2 at the moment, but rflow only seems to be tracking data uploaded through the router, not data that I've downloaded. If 13972 is good for you, then I'll try updating to that.

Thanks.

Follow up: I was able to successfully install the 600n specific version of this firmware build. Everything seems to be running just fine.

I've had the V24 nokiad running on my HP-G54 for about an hour...no problems so far.

I'm not going to try the K26 on it again though. Too many problems yesterday recovering it. (I am on the road so I am limited in my "debricking" hardware right now.)

can't get r13972 version to load on a netgear wnr834bV2. it loads fine on a wnr834bV1 and on a linksys wrt300nv1.
tryied both web and tftp methods. the upload stops after a few seconds with 'upload failed' message.

otherwise the build looks good. ddns via opendns works better.
