ok i got the accesspoint (wg602) working in a repeater bridge link with a dg834g and using the site survey feature does work when its it repeater bridge mode.

link is working fine, so far so good.

i hear that there is also some good firmware for the DG834G from DGTeam, does thier firmware support increasing the TX power of the router?

thanks

Can't add new port forwarding rule.
When hit "save changes" there is two blank rows. NO rules.

Anybody "ops sorry" with same issue ?

It's working. Seems I missing syntax.
I get a new row but dident hit save/apply settings.

Still the same problem with Repeater mode. Must use MAC Cloning of the WAN/WLAN to connect on some units.

This is ONLY with K26 NEWD2 builds.

on linksys wrt610n v2 if second wireless adapter is turned on. Starts immediately if only one wireless port is active. Needs multiple cold starts if second one is active.

Updated one 610v1 yesterday... so far so good

EDIT: I'm getting poor performance (vs with 13000) on one of my WDS links on wl0, 20% errors...

and to clarify, this is a BS Build, not Eko correct?

I thought I saw Eko in the d/l file path and "Big" is used by Eko, Mega by BS (download has "Big" in filename but I see the CP does show "Mega").

I installed it on my WRT350N. It appears now that port 53 is open to the world. I have confirmed this. Anyone else?

Just tried to update my old WRT54G v.5 (with 16MB upgrade) from build 13832 to this 13972 using the Broadcom micro_generic .bin without success - unit reports the update failed and provides a 'Continue' button that returns me to the firmware update page (I perform an 'erase nvram' command before each upgrade attempt which has always worked well for me).

I have the exact same problem with my WRT54GSv7.0

Might be something wrong with the micro_generic build/file.

I suspect the same. This new version (broadcom micro_generic) will not load (admin/update firmware route) where as all the other versions load ok.

I didn't experience any problems upgrading my G v5.0 or my GS v7. I upgraded all my micro units from the GUI.

If you have problems upgrading a firmware...try clearing your browser cache/cookies first...or try another browser.

I've seen where the browser is the problem...not the firmware.

I applied this build to my WRT54G2 (micro_generic build). The QOS limits didn't work. I then placed the build into another router, using the std_generic build and the QOS limits worked properly.

(To test QOS limits, I set the values much lower than regular speed test results, then ran a speed test. With the micro build (WRT54G2), the speed tests gave the regular (high) results, whereas when I used the std build, the speed test results were the same as the set QOS limits.)

I do not know if it's the WRT54G2 or the micro build that causes the issue. Can anyone verify this?

On 610n v1, running Big/Mega

Question about QOS:

Since the Interface is not consistent with other DD-WRT Tabs**, when using MAC Priority, is there supposed to be an entry for 00:00:00:00:00:00 [Priority Standard] as well?

Also, I don't have/see the Ethernet Port Priority option.

**by not consistent, I mean if nothing has been added, it usually shows -None- or just nothing at all (like in Port Forwarding, Static Leases etc) until you press the ADD Button. With QOS, you see a editable 00:00:00:00:00:00.

I wasn't sure if 00:00:00:00:00:00 is a default entry assigned all MAC Addresses (set to Priority STANDARD) that are not specified in the list (added).
