Hi
I wanted to know if I could set multiple SSID's on same network.I have DDWRT capable router(Asus RT-N12).
I have 2 devices that are connected to this router.
What I want is
Device 1 connect to SSID 1
Device 2 connect to SSID 2
Both the devices need to get the address which are on the same subnet.
Traffic between Device 1 and Device 2 should not interfere.
Can anyone let me know the steps to configure such a setup.
You help would be appreciated.
Well I know you can set a "virtual SSID" under the wireless settings. There should be a "Add virtual interface" button under there. Then you'll have a interface called ath0.1 or something to that effect. Not sure if they'll interfere with each other or what you mean by that.

What is your purpose for doing this? There are a few different ways this can be done with that router. I assume you want the two devices to be able to access the Internet but not access each other. However, when you mention they should be on the same subnet that's a contradiction. If I knew exactly what you were trying to accomplish I could probably be of more help.
