Try tftp anyways. You can also -flash:kernel but make sure you have a buffered jtag.

Of course nothing will work once you erase the kernel. The suggestion previously made was, if you can't tftp into the router use -flash:kernel to load the kernel on the router.

Perhaps a quick trip to the jtag wiki article would help you out. And, if tjtag was useful to you, consider donating to tornado. There is a link in the bottom of the tjag wiki.

It can easily take several hours, which is why tftp is preferred.

Soemthing is wrong. It should not take that long. Time to pull the plug and start over. Check over everything. You should not have to transfer the dd-wrt file by tjag. Perhaps you are using the wrong power supply? Erase everything and then flash the proper CFE for that router. (Don't erase if you don't have a proper bootloader.)

hello,
the power supply is the original.
i ve no cfe file, and i think it is no cfe
available.
i made an backup from the cfe before i erase the nvram and kernel.
what can i also check?
some other hints?

thx a lot!

Buffered would likely work better, but perhaps your CFE is defective. Getting another could be tricky.

You didn't try to pin short, did you?

NO!!! Order a buffered jtag from diygadget.com, and try to find another cfe. Try a different computer too.
