Another Question:
What is the difference between Free (trial) and the licensed version?
(I really tried to find the answer...and i will buy it if ASAP!)
I find that here, only 1 day trial period, and after these options stops:
- Wifi
- USB support
- 65536 connections
- MAC cloning
(Now i have only this one router, and I don't want to cause problem again on our network)

And which version of licence required?
DD-WRT Professional Activation (I think this)
DD-WRT Professional+Superchannel Activation (Do we need that?)
DD-WRT V24 Special for Broadcom based devices

Thanks In Advance!

Maybe the devs can shed some light in this. I wouldn't mind if I can get more than 4096 active connections.

Hi
I see tplink has now a support for ddwrt:
- svn 13855 - TP-Link WR1043ND support
- svn 13864 - tplink wr1043 vlan`s

Can you add this router to router database and make ddwrt to download?

Thanks.

and i got answer:

As i said, its currently NOT supported by dd-wrt.

I hope the donated hardware has arrived. A short "yes" from Sash would be most appreciated Smile

Wonder who has made the wiki entry. Tranzeo should be placed after TP-Link.

I flash from OpenWRT using the factory to DD one. But I cannot get WAN IP via DHCP, I know this is relate to DHCP disovery packet size, which DD-WRT change the default a long time ago.

I hope DD-WRT make a setting like in tomato firmware, which allow the user to make change of this

I guess undre this folder [tplink_tl-wr1043nd] this one [factory-to-ddwrt.bin] first from the factory firmware System Tools->Firmware Upgrade. Then from the new (DD-WRT micro?) with the other file [tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin].
Mayben somebody can correct me, if Im wrong...

I will try it when i get time, but I still wanna know which version of licence required?

Have tried to flash from OpenWRT. Every three seconds all 5 LEDs of the switch are blinking. Hope this can be recovered.

just a note, flash from DD-WRT GUI back to OpenWRT will not work (a quick test show offical firmware, without the header also didn't work), but using MTD is ok

Wow, finally a build for my router! :)

Anyone tested it yet? I'm interested about the whole flashing procedure and results.

I'm about to flash from the web interface of the factory firmware. Which image should I use (factory-to-ddwrt.bin or tl-wr1043nd-webflash.bin)?

Do I need a payed license to use DD-WRT on this router? Which one?
(Previously I had a Linksys WRT54GL and running DD-WRT on that didn't need a license.)
