+1 for removing the compatibility flag on the download page.
Just bricked it too, see:
https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=311417&start=30
Luckily i already had the serial header soldered, as it is was not first time i bricked the unit. Smile

This needs looking at. It's a very good and popular TP-Link model, with both N450 speeds and a 4-port gigabit switch. All the images - from hardware 1.0 to hardware 5.0 - should work or be withdrawn from the published builds until they do.

Post something in the appropriate build thread, such as this for 37837: https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=317573

Devs don't have time to go through every Router's forum thread but they do read the Build threads. Make sure to try the latest builds before complaining though.

Any easy way to flash the router from r35244 ?
Mine seems to be stuck at this version (guessing a bug in webflash) but i want to flash the latest working version if possible.

Hi,
I have an old router with CPU Atheros AR9132 rev 2 (0xb9). Currently it has very old DD-WRT installed:
"DD-WRT v24SP2- (03/25/13) std" (SVN 21061).

Can it be upgraded to the newer firmware, and if yes - which one should I use, and what would be the process (if simple upgrade from web ui won't work) ?

10x.

For Web UI upgrading, you may try any version elder than r33375 (r33375 included).
Beyond r33375, you will need SCP or TFTP / TTL to upgrade.

If you know how to upgrade version beyond r33375, and you also need SNMP, version r36104 is fine & the last one.
WR1043ND v1 wouldn't accept those beyond r36104 (image file too huge to fit the ROM).

If you don't need SNMP, you may try any version beyond r39956. In fact, some earlier version were removed OpenSSL/SNMP, so the image files are smaller to fit the ROM. But I only tried since r39956.

Locking this thread and leaving information for historical purposes while the 160+ pages are reviewed and topic split. Threads this size are useless to the community because finding any fruitful information in it is cumbersome, tedious, and not user-friendly. Please report successful flashes, issues, etc. in the build threads. Open a new thread for seeking help. Thank you for understanding.
