Im not sure dd-wrt is right for you. These are very basic network questions.
If you mean what do you put for your gateway on your computer...you put the ip of the router unless you are using DHCP which I thought you were. Then you dont put anything in any of those settings.
-Change the router's Wireless Mode = AP. Save.
-In Setup > MAC Address Clone page, enable it, and Get Current PC MAC address.
-Save, and apply settings. Wait until it's done.
-Unplug Internet modem, router, and make sure Windows Network Connection client for TCP/IP is set to automatically obtain an IP and DNS server address.
-Plug-in Internet modem, and wait 1 min until modem re-initializes and blinking lights settles down.
-Plug-in router, and wait 1 min for the same above reason.
The router should automatically get its Gateway and two DNS numbers from your ISP provider.
-Enable your Windows Network Connection client.
----------------------------------------------------------
- Go to DD-WRT router(probably 192.168.1.1) in browser, go to Status > WAN page.
- Copy or write down the IP number, subnet, Gateway number, and the two DNS 1 & 2 numbers.
- Go to Setup > Basic Setup page
- Enter the two DNS numbers into the Static DNS 1 & 2 fields.
- Optional: Enter your router's Gateway number for Static DNS 3.
- Make sure DHCP Server = Enable.
- Save, and apply settings
- Disable your computer's network adapter connection, and re-enable it.
- Open browser, and see if you can access the Internet.
- Report the results.
- Provide screenshot(s) of your router's Status > WAN page and your computer's TCP/IP dialog page if you still need help.

Here's another problem. I'm running version 13069 on my Airlink 670W. My ultimate goal is Client Bridge mode. I've noticed that Client Bridge is not an option in the pull-down menu in this build.
I also tried Repeater Bridge mode (following the Wiki exactly) and it didn't work.
I followed the Wiki for Client mode and it works perfectly, unfortunately, I need Client Bridge mode to stream video from my PC to my new Samsung TV.
Can anyone confirm if they have Client Bridge mode running on the 670W?

I can confirm that Repeater-Bridge mode works for Build 13069.
Repeater-Bridge mode is just like Client-Bridge mode, but Repeater-Bridge mode includes added range and capability to add wireless clients later on, if you wish.
If you get it working, post in this thread here about what you did specifically. _________________ .

No go. I configured the wireless bridge as per the tutorial (and using your information that you posted). The Wiki tutorial (http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Repeater_Bridge) actually includes adding a virtual interface, unless you are suggesting that I add more than one...
My AP won't recognize the router. I'm not using a 670W as the AP. I'm using a cheap Siemens Gigaset modem/router provided by my Telco (but I've been through all the menus and can't see any reason it's at fault).
Strange thing, when I configure as a repeater bridge, the dd-wrt wireless site survey comes up blank. I've seen it work when I configured as a client on a different subnet.

I only had to add one virtual interface to get Repeater-Bridge to work in my setup.
I see the same bug as you with my Airlink AR670W router and build 13069 (10-12-2009).
Site Survey doesn't work in "Repeater" or "Repeater Bridge" modes.
Site Survey does work in "AP" or "Client" modes.

After a solid week of trying to accomplish a Client Bridge, I'm ready to give up!
Yesterday, I took my telco-supplied Siemens AP out of the equation and bought a second 670W. Now I have a 670W running dd-wrt (13069) as the AP. No fancy configuration. Works perfectly as an AP.
I configured the Client router as per the Wiki tutorial for Wireless Repeater Bridge and I can't get it to work. I set my computer to static IP 192.168.1.9 when setting config. When I change it back to dynaimc IP and DNS, I get "Limited to no Connectivity" message (when connected with a network cable).
Is anyone with a working 670W Client Bridge willing to send me a copy of their configuration backup file?

I found one more KEY configuration setting that has to be made to enable Repeater-Bridge mode.
Copy the Wireless MAC Address from the main AP's router Status > Wireless Page.
On the Repeater-Bridge router's Setup > Mac Address Clone page:
-Enable MAC Clone.
-In the bottom section of the page, manually enter the AP's Wireless MAC Address into the Clone Wireless MAC field (Make sure it is NOT Clone WAN MAC).
-Save, and apply settings.
Try that before you give up. _________________ .

You may want to try the Repeater Bridge setup mode.
Client bridge does not work on the WHR-G300N currently.
If the AR-670W is also RaLink based, it could be having the same issues.
Try Repeater Bridge before giving up.
Yes, AR-670W is Ralink based.
And Client-Bridge does NOT work and is NOT available on the Airlink AR-670W router.
Repeater-Bridge was a b*tch to get working, but I got it working with Hellbore's assistance.
I've posted my entire solution for others to possibly try:

Still no luck but I feel like I might be getting closer. After setting up the Repeater Bridge and cloning the AP MAC to the Client, I can now ping the AP from the client computer (with the computer set to a static IP). I can also access both router's config pages from the client computer (I have 2 computers in use).
I CAN'T ping the client from the AP computer, nor can I access the client router config page.
I also have no internet access on the client computer.
When I set the client computer to Auto IP/DNS, I get the "Limited or No Connectivity" windows message. My wife also got kicked off her laptop at this point (?!?!?!?). She was connected to the AP wirelessly and no changes to the AP settings were made....but I'm wondering if it has something to do with the MAC address cloning causing her laptop to switch over to the client router that has no internet connection.

heck.
If the MAC address cloning didn't get Repeater-Bridge working, then un-do it.
And return to the factory default MAC addresses.
Then try to do the WDS set-up instead, which I learned on 11-5-09.
