After working hard I managed to install and run a bluetooth dongle using bluez on my dir320 router (dd-wrt v24 sp2 usb).
However, my main goal was to use multiple dongles on my router (using a hub). this cause some problems...
the hub works just fine and I can still use one dongle but when I try to initialize the other one using hciconfig hci1 up
it throws a timeout error:
@DD-WRT:/tmp/root# hciconfig hci0 up
Can't init device hci0: Connection timed out (145)

Are bluetooth headphones safe to use during flights? I’m in the process of buying new headphones. Are bluetooth headphones safe to use during flights? Won’t it interfere with the plane’s equipment?

Any device that transmits or receives a signal, is never allowed once the door of the aircraft is closed at departure. Once the aircraft has landed at it's destination, and on taxi to your gate, use of your bluetooth headphone is then permitted.
