External TFTP service no working

Hi-

I have a WRT54G v8
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (07/21/09) micro

I have Cisco IP phones that require connection to a TFTP service remotely. The TFTP timeout when trying to connect. It is almost that the unit blocks or prevents any activity on port 69

Any ideas?

Unblock port 69 under NAS/QOS, Port Forwarding tab.

Why do the phones require TFTP to operate? It doesn't make sense.

Are you sure it's TFTP?
