Hi all,

I have been fighting with my D-Link DIR-825 B1 for 3 days now to get it converted to DD-WRT.

Here is more information about the router :

P/N : EIR825EEU....B1G
H/W : B1
F/W : 2.10EU

I have followed the procedure for this device, read lots of posts, tried multiple firmware but without success.

When i put the router on 30/30/30 Firmware upgrade mode and try to load the "factory-to-ddwrt_WW.bin" file (03-15-2018-R35384), I never get an answer from the router. The browser keeps waiting for an answer.

To avoid problems, I started my Windows 8.1 in safe mode and used the IE compatibility mode to run like IE7.

Any idea?

I would try downgrading the Factory Firmware, that may be the problem.

I finally got this fixed by :

- downgrading D-Link firmware to version 2.02EU (b04)
- using DD-WRT firmware from release "01-07-2018-r34411"

Cheers,

Hi all! I have been using firmware for a long time. Thinking about to buy this router, but in a stock they have only R1 revision. Will dd-wrt support it or no? Thank you!

Hi, I've been using build 34080 for a while now. Are there any more recent updates that work well?

Thanks
