how does the QOS respond in a WDS network ?

if you limit the WDS unit at the top of the menu with the LAN/WLAN HTB and it will nicely work as MAX for the WHOLE WDS unit, 1-2 or 10 clients connected

But what if i use the "Default Bandwidth Level"

does the WDS unit than get the whole feed and limit only to the connected MAC addresses or will the WDS unit as well be limited ?

(?did i explain this correctly?)

u must set the basic level to the max speed u get. the qos is just for having some spare speed for critical applications. thats the main idea of it

Then my plan/idea is wrong i guess.

What i tried to create was

WDS to WDS : full unrestricted speed
WDS to MAC client(s) : speed limited to 256k

Where the WDS to WDS, makes long range coverages
(see stats at stat.dunhill.ws)

and WDS to MAC, shared speed to the MAC clients
My feed is (don't laugh) max 768 and the MAC clients are limited to 256k

A.

added:
at this moment 1 clients has the possibility to get the whole 768 feed and i try to avoid that without loosing the connectivity between WDS stations
