Hi there,

Am i missing something? I've 4 NS2s I want to string together with WDS. All are set up 'AP WDS', the MACs are in there correctly, though on sys-info the APs show as clients. I read a couple of tutorials to ensure I wasn't missing something obvious.

Also, I wish to set a static IP on the APs in order I can plug them into the LAN in order to run the hotspotsystem scripts (need an internet connection when thescript runs). I set the static IP, web gui is on but I cannot access the ap over the LAN. There's no IP conflicts. Have tried STP enabled and disabled.

The only thing that's changed compared to previous attempts is the dd-wrt version. Worked with 3.3.1, but we're on the 3.4 version now.

Any pointers?

.. as wel as a couple other Googled guides. It was only useful for broadcom. None of the tips in the Atheros FAQ worked so I was looking for a little more help that that :0)

I eventually talked to my supplier who was more experienced with the quirks of the NS2 (due to feedback he'd received). Now worked around.
