since i get good reports on these build i decided to provide new special versions here
greatest news for people should be that the mini/mega version contains a 802.11x/wpa enterprise authentication client now which works well _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? hello
i flashed it on a wrt54gs v1.1 32MB DD-WRT v24-sp2 (11/14/0 mega-special(SVN revision 10920)
after update to the new mega:
1st time flashing (rev12188)i got stable connection problems and syslog not working
then back to rev 10920 all working well.
2st time flashing new mega(12188)with doing 30/30/30 resets, after reconnects syslog is stopping its work, and if i disconnect manually he dont reconnects automatik.
On the Filecenter the 108AG File is only 0kb and here i can not find the new one as special edition. did you have one or is the support for 108AG dead?

BS,
On QOS tab, I don't see the default bandwidth level box any more. I was using that to provide bandwidth throttling to all clients at a fixed level. It worked well in the previous build (although a bit processor intensive on WHR-HP-54G).
Sash,
I apologize if I am out of line, but manu was just mentioning that the syslog needs to be fixed. Is that not helpful to the developers?

OK Sash. I'm sorry, I don't see it on my WHR-HP-G54. Here's what I'm running:
Router Model
Buffalo WHR-HP-G54
Firmware Version
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/29/09) vpn - build 11514
I'm running in Repeater Bridge mode. I don't see the Default Bandwidth boxes.
I see these:
Uplink (kbps)
Downlink (kbps)
Ah, after all this I see that I've got a version problem. I thought I downloaded the one you put up. Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. I'll D/L BS's big file and flash it with that one.
Thanks.
Edit.
I have the Default Bandwidth Level boxes now. I downloaded BS's big file and used the vpn_special out of there and it works well as far as I can see.
Edit.
Increased processor load for QOS is gone (in my limited test). Much snappier than previous builds in Web GUI. Nice work BS. _________________ DD-WRT Enabled Beasts:
