trouble settiing up pptp! - pings ok w/routers not clients

The client address range in the pptp server setup should be the SAME as your dhcp range - not different! The wiki is wrong it looks like - when I changed that range to match my dhcp range on both sides viola - things worked perfectly!

My only problem now is that it seems pptp is not passing netbios traffic.....any help on that?


Finally mine is working again.
i must of changed my dhcp range or vpn range and it didnt coincide. read the wiki 100's of times and all settings were good. read your post and now working like a dream again

Im running DD-WRT v24-sp2 (08/12/10) std (SVN revision 14929)

Hi everyone. I have decided to change my old router TP-Link 740n with 841n v10 and i found that the problem with the ping on lan its not solvent in this Firmware.

With TP-LINK 740n -> 03-05-2015-r26446 the problem with ping thru cable was fixed.
