I am sure this question has been asked a million times but I have not been able to find the answer in the old forums or this one, but I know I have read it somewhere in here.

I can use DNS Masq to map a name to an IP address and works great.

How do I map one IP to another??? Such as:
I want say 10.100.64.20 to map to 192.168.1.5 when the request is coming from a machine in the 192.168.1.0 subnet.

I know its IP tables but I can't figure it out so far.

Thanks so much for your help

I dont understand what you're trying to do. Why is your request on 192.168.1.0 subnet going to 10.100.64.20 instead of 192.168.1.5

Its just for development purposes.

The IP's specifically don't matter as the ability to map any given IP to an internal subnet.

Do you have a solution. I am reading up on DNAT but am a little confused.
Possibly there are other ways to go about doing it.
