Hello,
I have a WRT600n Version 1.1 with stock linksys 1.01.36 build 4 on it.
I would like to upgrade to DD-WRT to gain SNMP for MRTG monitoring purposes.
I have tried the V24_TNG version as well as the new EKO 10991 build and when I try and upgrade the firmware via the upgrade firmware page, It gives me an "firmware update failed" error. It doesn't seem to be corrupting the existing linksys firmware and my internet remains operational.
I've reset the unit back to factory defaults and still can't get DD-WRT to install. Any suggestions?
After you flash the image that has been modified to be accepted by the stock web interface, you should upgrade to build 10991 as you tried to do earlier. You can run any build except micro. Mega, std, mini, openvpn, voip, and nokaid will all work. Also, be sure to only flash NEWD images. (Note that if it's not marked VINT or NEWD, it is NEWD) _________________ WRT54G v3 - v24 r14471M NEWD Eko - AP
