EOC-2610 post flash question...

I have the EOC-2610 unit up and running with the instructions provided via the wiki and enjoy this unit quite a bit! My only question is if I decided to switch from the DD-WRT firmware located on Senao's website to a different revision (such as ver 24 sp1 or more recent build).

Would the upgrade now simply be through the DD-WRT interface or would I still have to take the route located on the wiki.
