I'm having the same problem as this guy did. http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=40558&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
i downloaded the linksys firmware to revert it back to a G, uploaded it through the web management mode got successful. in theory this means it has written but i am unable to get a linksys firmware back up to start the process over again to dd-wrt. then with the right file mentioned in that thread id essentially get it back to a gs eventually one step at a time. at this point its stuck in management mode i can ping but no telnet/ssh access. im am using windoze to flash with utilities. help appreciated.

Alright i finally got it to revert. Heres the files i used to install dd-wrt on my GS v6 and revert back.

Install instructions

Uninstall instructions

BE SURE TO NOT USE THE G v5v6 file
use the revert file in the thread listed above or use this link. otherwise you have to go through the whole process back from a G to dd-wrt and then back again to a GS with this file (which was my case)
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/download.php?id=6718

If you still have the same IE browser open be sure to do a CTRL + F5 to reload the page and not refresh it otherwise you may see something that it shouldnt be like the management mode screen instead of the linksys man page after a flash.

Thanks for the expierence, sorry it was unable to furfill my needs as of yet. although i loved toying with the extra features even with the micro version on my limited GSv6. I'm probably gonna do it again sometime but for now i need reliability.
