hi,
since the 18th november, the DDNS function stopped to work properly, everytime the routeur is started i have the same message :
DDNS Status
Thu Jan 1 00:00:23 1970: INADYN: Started 'INADYN Advanced version 1.96-ADV' - dynamic DNS updater.
Thu Jan 1 00:00:23 1970: INADYN: IP read from cache file is '117.47.62.99'. No update required.
while my ip is changing at every disconnection.
i deleted all files in /tmp/ddns , restored routeur to default settings, nothing is working.

Do a trace route to no-ip.com and verify if the IP in question shows up anywhere along the route first. If not, try creating a temporary account elsewhere and set it to use that and then switch back. This should help to clear "stuck" variables.

still the same ip discovered but at least it's updating with the real one in the minute.
I have exactly the same problem...except the problem hasn't solved by itself.
The status is

Upper right corner says that the IP is
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/02/10) big
Time: 20:34:11 up 28 min, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00
WAN IP: xx.xx.69.106
Router is Asus RT-N16
I did the 30-30-30 reset without help. Only if I press "Apply settings" it updates the IP okay
