I successfully installed Eko's nokaid version through web interface on NA Netgear orignial firmware.

The Aug 19 2008 version could flash but always got stuck on apply.cgi... couldn't interact with it at all.

Purchased a serial cable and attached to the board to flash back to factory firmware.

Installed Eko's from fresh Netgear factory firmware.

WRG614L v8
CFE 1.3
North America
Serial Cable option

Haven't played with it yet, hoping to get wireless bridging rocking. THANKS.

madscientist, you could use http://speedtest.net/ or start downloading a big file from a server with fast speed.

Downloading a big file or using speedtest.net work both nice, but only tell me that my ISP is not cheating me Wink

I tried some internal network traffic and it seems to peak at 16Mbps on DD-WRTs bandwidth monitor.

By the way, I reported some trouble I had with the previous version here:
http://www.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=38138

Using the new svn10488 my problems are gone. What has changed? I guess, only Eko can answer this Very Happy

I got dd-wrt working on my NA WGR614v8, and it's working flawlessly. I did notice, however that there are 2 versions of the WGR614 v8 out, mine has a 125Mhz Rev. 1 Broadcom CPU.

Hi, i guess it's just cpu detection problem. Please give me:
Code:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

and
Code:
nvram show|grep freq

Mine looks like this:
Code:
root@WGR614L:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo
system type             : Broadcom BCM5354 chip rev 2
processor               : 0
cpu model               : BCM3302 V2.9
BogoMIPS                : 239.20
wait instruction        : no
microsecond timers      : yes
tlb_entries             : 32
extra interrupt vector  : no
hardware watchpoint     : no
VCED exceptions         : not available
VCEI exceptions         : not available
root@WGR614L:~# nvram show|grep freq
xtalfreq=25000
clkfreq=240
size: 19296 bytes (13472 left)
root@WGR614L:~#

The CPU is detected fine on my v8.

BTW I've noticed that there is svn10509 for WGR614v8 available, what are the changes there?

Here is the output from the commands, as Eko requested.

Code:
root@DD-WRT:~# cat /proc/cpuinfo
system type             : Broadcom BCM5354 chip rev 1
processor               : 0
cpu model               : BCM3302 V2.9
BogoMIPS                : 239.20
wait instruction        : no
microsecond timers      : yes
tlb_entries             : 32
extra interrupt vector  : no
hardware watchpoint     : no
VCED exceptions         : not available
VCEI exceptions         : not available
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show|grep freq
xtalfreq=25000
size: 28647 bytes (4121 left)

Also, is anyone working on the problem with IPKG and v24? I'm really tired of having to tinker with commands until I get it working correctly.
Code:
root@DD-WRT:~# ipkg update
root@DD-WRT:~# ipkg list
ERROR: File not found: /jffs/usr/lib/ipkg/lists/whiterussian
You probably want to run `ipkg update'
ERROR: File not found: /jffs/usr/lib/ipkg/lists/non-free

ERROR: File not found: /jffs/usr/lib/ipkg/lists/backports
