ddwrt v3.0 kong can't manually mount device

when I disable Automatic Drive Mount. I can't mount any ext device(ext2 ext3 ext4) I try mount a device

mount -t ext4 /dev/sdc2 /mnt/sdb1
mount: mounting /dev/sdc2 on /mnt/sdb1 failed: No such device

automount is ok ,but why I can't manually mount device. who can help me, please
