My interest in this project is purely to make use of the wr850g that I own.
Being it seems to be addressed separately in the info, I have these questions.

I am only interested in the increase in transmit power feature that is available. Being that there are 2 steps to the reflash of this unit, do I need both flashes installed to take advantage of this... power increase..?

Could the unit also be configured to act as a 'wireless bridge' for a setup within my local LAN...?

Any comments or advice is welcome..
