The first pic. is from my Linksys wap200e, and is pic of the radio witch is ravlink.
The last pic. is of a wap54gpe, and is pic of the prossesor under the radio card.

Where can I find the FCC ID, is it the same as the model, or the serial number?

It should be on a sticker on the unit. Usually with the Make/Model number.

It should state FCC ID#....then a letter/number combination.

Very true...but many of the Intel IXP series are also supported.

I just don't know about this particular model.

Is that classified as x86 hardware? Or is it MIPS like Broadcom?

I suppose he'll need some help from the developers on this.

I was just perusing the Supported Devices base....it appears that the IXP units are supported a long side the Broadcoms...but if it has an RaLink wireless NIC card..then that needs to be replace with Broadcom or Atheros based NIC card.

I'll be honest here...this is going to be more trouble than it is worth for you. Unless you are willing to donate a unit and ship it to the developers...they probably won't get very far with this one.

IMHO might I suggest you abandon this effort...spend the $50 and get a WL-520GU unit that is supported.

But you can do as you like...this is only one man's opinion.

I would think that could be arranged...check with Eko or BrainSlayer....see if they would want to tackle this.

I have the FCC ID: Q87-WAP54GPE

I have already search in the FCC database but i find only Q87-WAP54GP.

I have also tried to upgrade the firmware with dd-wrt.v24-9517_VINT_mini.trx but the upgrade firmware page dispayed me the error :"WRONG FIRMWARE FORMAT".

What can i do?

I think we first most replace the radio card.
And then use dd-wrt that fits the cpu, or we need some help here!
