I am having problem downloading any files that is 2GB+ using https. The error code is "...file can not be read."
I use Firefox and Edge. The files I want to download are "dd-wrt_x64_full_efi_vga-ext4.image" and "dd-wrt_x64-webupgrade_full_vga_ext4_efi.bin". I tried all the July releases so far and none worked. I also want to point out that I am running r65498 released on 07-02-2026 yet I can't download it again.
Do any of you encountered this problem? If you didn't, would you please let me know which browser you use?
The last build I downloaded, 65727, the download kept stopping using Brave browser. I had to keep telling it to resume until it eventually finished the download. It took 10-15 minutes to finish the download and I had to tell it to "resume" at least 25-30 times. I tried to install it on my old X86 machine to test however it did not work. I am unsure if the image was corrupted due to all the stopping or what? Since I have my new X86 machine running on OpenWRT, I was not too worried about it so I did not try again. I will try again using the latest build that came out yesterday when I get time. _________________ Custom computer w/ i7-13700T, 16GB DDR5 Ram, X710-T4L, i226 four port, two RLTK 8127 cards & dual AQC113 M2 slot card. I just tried to download 65774 and it keeps saying "check internet connection" and will not download. Last time it would download a small amount and do the same thing but would resume when I told it to until I was able to download the whole file. this time it is not downloading at all. I am encountering the same download problem. It doesn't matter if I use a Private browser or not. It still stalls. I even tried going through the other downloads folder on the main dd-wrt.com website. No luck. It still stops the download.
A few releases back Brainslayer specified
dd-wrt_x64-webupgrade_full_vga.bin to also be able handling setups done with *_2GB.bin file, since newer releases.
Maybe the non functional _ext4 downloads can also be handler similar with smaller relasefiles of same kind?
If not... system is borked and needs to be redone ofc.

@Zyxx your message prompted me to download "dd-wrt_x64_full_vga_2GB.image" and "dd-wrt_x64-webupgrade_full_vga.bin". Both files are less than 1GB but each took more than an hours of download time.
Since I can't download any of the efi images, I have to experiment with the legacy boot image using a spare drive. I can start with r65498 and step it up to r65774.
Even "webupgrade_full_vga.bin" can apply to the efi image, we must be able to download the "full efi_vga" image first.

Still can't download any of the efi image and efi bin files.
In case you like to know, I was able to upgrade "dd-wrt_x64_full_vga_2GB.image" using "dd-wrt_x64-webupgrade_full_vga.bin" from 07-02-2026-r65498, release by release; to 07-27-2026-r65774 without any problem.
I probably will stay with dd-wrt_x64_full_vga_2GB.image until efi file download issue is corrected.

I have to restart the download 60+ times for the ~2GB files, dd-wrt_x64_full_efi_vga-ext4 either the image or the webupgrade file. FireFox on Windows, v154.0, even tried with a VPN and InPrivate browsing, no change.

Allowing cookies didn't fix the https download issue. I believe it is getting worse. I can't download any of the efi version of the image or bin files via https today for r65953.
Please note that ftp download is functioning well.
