Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
List router model & version or revision, operating & wireless modes & exact filename/firmware image flashed.
CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (httponly) or 'curl -O {file URL}' (http, https, ftp) 'write {file} linux' then 'reboot'.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:

• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:

• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.
I am unable to upgrade to this via the web gui. It comes back up on 64327 (the build that was pulled). Has a ticket been put in for this issue yet? It has been going on for several builds now. Looking at other threads in other sections of the forum, it appears to only be an issue with the X86 based systems upgrades. _________________ Custom computer w/ i7-13700T, 16GB DDR5 Ram, X710-T4L, i226 four port, two RLTK 8127 cards & dual AQC113 M2 slot card. 2 GL.iNET GL-BE9300 Flint 3 with (GLiNet Custom OpenWRT) as AP's (WIFI 7 for the whole home now)
GL.iNET GL-MT6000 Flint 2 with pure OpenWRT not in use
GL INET GL-BE3600 Slate 7 Travel Router as a travel router
2 R7800's (DDWRT Build r60586) Not in use
3 R7000's (DDWRT build r65574) one used as a bridge
WRT54G-TM not in use
I didn't check. I have now done a fresh install and reactivation. I did not think to check the logs since it came back up on the old version. If it happens again next time I try to upgrade, I will check the logs. _________________ Custom computer w/ i7-13700T, 16GB DDR5 Ram, X710-T4L, i226 four port, two RLTK 8127 cards & dual AQC113 M2 slot card. No logs, nothing to fix.
You have to tail -f /var/log/messages with nvram set console_debug=1 in a ssh/telnet session to the router while flashing via webUI. Serial logs are not quite as easy to obtain because it probably requires a USB to USB UART adapter unless there is an actual DB9 serial port, which then would require a properly built USB to DB9 adapter so you don't fry anything.

x86 webupgrades are always problematice since the system may run out of memory. files are too big. best way to update is putting in on a accessible share like samba and update it using dd on commandline. _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? As mentioned by me several firmware releases ago, an upgrade wipes out configuration even though "Do not Reset" is selected in "After Flashing".
Usually not a big deal - I just use my saved config file.
However, this time I accidentally entered a new different password upon the router starting, and I was unable to proceed with the config restore. Because a PC router doesn't have a reset button, I was forced to reinstall the entire image again from scratch.
And all simply because the upgrade doesn't save the previous config, despite directions to do so. When I first started using x64 PC as a router, there were no such problems.
