[SOLVED] Issue flashing firmware r62778 -> r62606

Router: NetGear R6700v2 NightHawk AC1750
currently running DD-WRT image r62778

I tried to flash the previous version (r62606) but although the GUI will say Successful upon completion, the flashing doesn't seem to have worked because r62278 is still displayed.

How can I determine what went wrong?

Issue resolved.
When I first flashed DD-WRT, that was done with Netgear's GUI.
And that process required an IMG file to work.

Then after DD-WRT was installed, when I tried to flash a different version of DD-WRT, I kept selecting the IMG file via the DD-WRT GUI. Because the IMG file worked before. But this choice of the IMG file of the firmware just never succeeded to flash.

Finally, with the DD-WRT GUI, I tried to use the other file - the xxx-webflash.bin file - and voila, it worked!
