Router/Version: Optiplex 7060 with i7 8700 & 32 GB RAM, X710-T4L, 4 port i226, AQC113 M2 card
File/Kernel: Full EFI 2 GB VGA
Previous/Reset: 64600 clean reinstall
Mode/Status: Router
Issues/Errors: The web GUI upgrade still is not working. It did not ask me to reactivate even though I wiped the hard drive prior to install.
Unused ethernet ports are reporting error-1 but seem to work when plugged in, the web GUI upgrade still is not working although I did not have time to try to do the serial log. Otherwise this has worked well for the past 7 hours. I was able to get Adguard up and working again.
Is anyone else have issues upgrading via the web GUI? I am curious if this may be something with the EFI version?

@cml750 did you wait for GUI Upgrade? Here it takes a looooong time to finish, since at least half a year.
(Similar to what people are reporting now in QCA Forum).
Im currently upgrading from r64137 to this release and look at my iftop:
It takes forever with up to 12Mbit/s to upload almost 500 Megabytes of firmware... .
And this x86 device has a NVMe drive, capable of several hundreds of Megabytes per second.
So an update takes looooooong, did not get any feedback to this issue the last months.
I go to the upgrade option under administration, select the new file with the no reset option, then it goes through what appears to be the normal upgrade process. It goes to the screen where it shows it processing the upgrade then reboots and comes back up on the original firmware. The whole thing takes only a few minutes and appears to be the normal time frame for an upgrade except for never actually upgrading. _________________ Custom computer w/ i7-13700T, 16GB DDR5 Ram, X710-T4L, i226 four port, two RLTK 8127 cards & dual AQC113 M2 slot card. Oh well, I have two different SATA SSD's I can use for clean installs. That way if a build doesn't work I can just put the already working hard drive back in and be ready to go. My wife doesn't like it if I have the internet down too long, lol. The last few builds I have saved a back up just before doing the clean install and used that backup to restore the new version. That makes it a lot easier to get Entware back for the Adguard I am using. I would just go back to OpenWRT but I actually get around 100 Mbps more bandwidth using DDWRT. I am not sure why. Of course I really have more than needed so it really shouldn't matter but it bothers me if I can't get full bandwidth which is around 1140 Mbps from a 1 gig connection from Spectrum cable using an S33 modem with DDWRT and the X710-T4L network card. _________________ Custom computer w/ i7-13700T, 16GB DDR5 Ram, X710-T4L, i226 four port, two RLTK 8127 cards & dual AQC113 M2 slot card. kernelpanic69 told me to do a serial log of the upgrade process to turn in. My Optiplex has a serial port so it shouldn't be too hard to do but I have been in a hurry the last few upgrades. One of these days I will do it although I will have to do some research on the forum to figure out how to do that. _________________ Custom computer w/ i7-13700T, 16GB DDR5 Ram, X710-T4L, i226 four port, two RLTK 8127 cards & dual AQC113 M2 slot card. I'm currently moving apartments, therefore still on the old version.
But over the last day I had several occurences of this:
Code:
May 31 18:16:19.517 N4000 authpriv.info dropbear[7442]: [dropbear] : sniffing detected. block client 192.168.1.223 for 625 minutes
This error seemingly only hits wireless devices, which are connected to a Dynalink WRX36.
The Dynalink and this router are both part of the 192.168.1.X subnet, the Dynalink does not use its WAN port, only three of its LAN Ports. All traffic goes out over this X86 N4000 minipc.
The wireless devices use JuiceSSH and access to the N4000 usually hangs.
I will update this router as soon as I have everything in new appartment.
