I have a r7450 which I recently upgraded from r46733 to r62240.

I have an application on a wired PC that sends a constant UDP stream to the broadcast address of my LAN, and I have two tablets on WiFi that need to receive this stream. This arrangement had been working fine on r46733, but on r62240 I see the UDP stream on the WiFi interface start and stop every 10 seconds.

Enabling "Multicast to Unicast" on the LAN and WiFi interfaces almost solved the issue. On a laptop connected to both interfaces, in Wireshark I can see the stream stays constant on WiFi with that enabled, but there seems to be something about it that the application on the tablets doesn't like as they won't stay connected despite the stream being constant.

The stream starting and stopping every 10 seconds on WiFi is the best clue I have at the moment. AI has given me a variety of things to try but no luck so far. I tried disabling the firewall but there was no change.

I'm considering rolling back to r46733 to get my application going again.

Any suggestions?

Moved to Ralink (Ralink = MediaTek) because the Netgear R7450 is MediaTek SoC.
