Hello!
I've updated the dd-wrt firmware from r58699 to the latest r62157 for my WRT32X router for the first time in a long time. (I probably should have stayed that way.)
I also did the factory reset. So far, so good. According to him, the update was successful and it started booting up.
However, my web GUI is now broken, and it won't let me save the password, even though it says "changed password" in the button, after which nothing happens. I can't access it anymore. Rebooting or pressing the reset button doesn't help; it keeps rebooting to the broken web GUI on the password change page.
Unfortunately, I can't access the router via telnet or ssh; it doesn't seem to have enabled this yet, as it wants the password set first.
Re-flashing is therefore also impossible for me, as I no longer have access via LAN or WLAN.
Unfortunately, I can't provide any logs or anything similar because I can't read the router.
What can I do now? Setting the password (without the username/root) wasn't successful.
Is there any way to bypass this password setting step, or do I have a "different" problem related to a faulty web GUI/firmware?
I'm grateful for any tips to get the router working again.

The language in this forum is English so please post in English or at least add a translation.
The correct forum to post in for your router is the Marvell forum to which I will move this post.
See the forum guidelines with helpful pointers about how to research your router, where and what firmware to download, where and how to post and many other helpful tips:

Build 62157 has GUI problems reported see the build threads.
See if you can telnet into your router, username is always: root

Ouch, didn't read that before I flashed.

Telnet and ssh is not working at this point
I will try to buy a UART / TTL cable adapter, maybe I can do something on this level...

I solved it, thanks to your post!
2. Power Cycle the router three times.
Using the router’s power switch – turn OFF then turn back ON.
Wait 2 seconds then turn OFF.
Turn back ON.

Turn back ON.
Router should have booted into opposite partition.
