R7000 Only 2.4G 802.11g Is Slow

I have a TV that only has 2.4G 802.11g capabilities. All the protocols and frequencies on my R7000 operate at advertised speeds except for 802.11g 2.4G. I understand that the maximum theoretical data rate is 54 Mbps and I should have something slightly less at best.

My problem is that my data rates are only 10-12 Mbps when measured.

Could I possible have a wrong setting. From everything I've seen I should have them correct. I am currently running build #59661 on the R7000.

Any help would be appreciated.

You will get less than half of 54 Mbit/s

I do standard g tests with esprimo atheros500g wifi laptops and tplinkwr740v4 router
those best settings

https://imgur.com/77cafZp i get 25mbps. Sometimes 27 and even 33 mbps

Multicast is slow on wifi. It uses the Basic Rate of 6M/s.

In the Advanced Options of the Interface, Enable the Multicast to Unicast Option.
