I just switched from a R9000 to a R7800. On the R9000, there was only one choice under Setup, Networking, Bridging "Create a Bridge" for "Settings". The choice was IGMP Snooping. On the R7800, there are multiple choices. I checked IGMP Snooping since I had it before, but there is a choice "Linklocal Learn" that was checked as a default.
I tried to read and Google for an explanation but I found nothing specific to DD-WRT. Should I leave the setting checked? I have one VLAN, a Virtual Access Point, that I want isolated from my main network. It is working as it did on the R9000 but I do not know what this setting does. Can anyone shed some light?

Both use different architectures for VLAN segmentation...one (R9000) has still swconfig,
while the other one (R7800) moved to DSA....it took me a time to understand how DSA works...kind of... but still waiting for more insights and some fixing...as it seams DSA still has some bugs, or oddities....
there is a youtube video from OpenWRT about DSA which is some kind of a helpful, towards understanding it...but how DDWRT handles DSA is a different animal...
have a look here, where ho1Aetoo contributed with some helpful insights
