It works fine. Every client gets an IPv4 address from the original router, like 192.168.178.23.
But there is one thing which I do not understand: the clients in the TP-Link's WLAN do get internet access, but they cannot access IPv4 addresses like 192.168.178.1. This address would be important to use the MyFritz!App or the Fritz!AppPhone locally.
The only IPv4 address they can access is the one of the AP itself: 192.168.178.2.
Clients on a LAN port of TP-Link router do have that access. It only affects clients in the WLAN.
How could I improve this behaviour? Something on WLAN configuration must be different from LAN configuration, but what?
Thank you for your help!

Did you set the upstream router's address as gateway? Do you have net or ap isolation set? I've never seen this happen. And I presume you mean 08-22-2025-r62104 when you say "latest beta"...
One additional information:
Since FritzBox is set to IPv6 (Router Advertisement in LAN is active, DHCP v6 server is activated and DNS-Server, Prefix (IA_PD) and IPv6 address (IA_NA) are defined by FritzBox), on TP-Link I also enabled IPv6 with "Native IPv6 from ISP*" and radvd disabled, DHCP v6 server daemon disabled and DHCPv6 client daemon "No Release on Reconnect" enabled - which hopefully means it is off (double negative).
Perhaps this is important.
* I also tried "IPv6 with Prefix Delegation", but it made no difference for this problem.

One thing happened after disabling IPv6 in the FritzBox: now the box and the FTP connection to its NAS are not available anymore, even not with "fritz.box" in the browser or in the FTP client.
So do you think something is wrong with my settings? Or could it be a bug in that DD-WRT version? Should I install a more stable one?
Why are there different instructions? This one stopped internet access for my WLAN clients totally. I had to restore a backup.
These instructions have no impact on Wireless so either you did not reset to defaults or made faulty config changes on your wireless or the firmware is buggy
To be precise: my Android smartphone still had WLAN, but could not access the internet anymore.
Perhaps, and therefore the question again: which version of DD-WRT to install?
I had skipped the "reset to defaults". Now it works!
But why?? Something must have been broken in that IPv6 game. I did not have done any other configuration except WLAN SSID and password and that wiki to make an access point.
Perhaps that old wiki should be updated or replaced by your new instructions?
One thing I did not understand: the section beginning with "If you have unbridged interfaces on the WAP..."
Where can I see IF I have those unbridged interfaces?
