As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel. Crying or Very sad
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot." Wink

If your router's light turns red, don't worry. Internet connection is ok.

Thank you BS and gurus!

Router/Version: Linksys EA6500v2
File/Kernel: Linux 4.4.302-rt232-st63 #14124 SMP Fri Aug 8 05:26:57 +07 2025 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r62032/no
Mode/Status: Remote router connected via Wireguard VPN
Issues/Errors: MTU of Wireguard tunnels FIXED(!) / Site Survey MACs are truncated

The "MTU of Wireguard tunnels" issue has been repaired, THANK YOU BS and egc.

For reference, see my post in https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=338900 and egc's response therein.

The "Site Survey MAC addresses are truncated by one digit" issue still remains.

This issue is unchanged from previous release(s), see for example my post on this topic here:

https://forum.dd-wrt.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=338900

Specifically, in the Site Survey the MAC addresses displayed are truncated by one digit, i.e., they're missing the last digit of the MAC.

I've found this mis-behavior occurs in the Mar24 build r60467 and AFAIK all builds thereafter.

Builds prior to r60467 do NOT have this issue.

Previous: r61848
Reset: yes
Status: ok
Issues/Errors: see below

- wireless site survey MAC is truncated as reported above
- wireguard interface oet1 does not show in Bandwidth graphs

Aside from those visual issues and the fact that the bandwidth graphs are still very hard to read, things seem stable.

Linksys EA6400 working good on this version. Recently I'm found some GUI config problem. Feature named: "UPnP IGD Service" have neither value. I'm choose disable and device is more secure and stable. I don't known is problem only in my device, but when this setting is configured router can work better with ctf module and I haven't problem with internet connection speed. I think all users that have CTF or other problem should check in GUI settings on NAT / Qos -> UPNP page. Sometimes Upnp have neither value in configuration. In my opinion should be permanently disable for security reason.

Netgear r7000 The ctf function isn't working at all on this build reboot many times had to return to 6/12/2025 build for that function to work.

By flashing many firmwares from r62036 back to r60662 I found that the error first showed up in r60697.

If I should report this elsewhere, please, let me know. Thanks to all the gurus! You rock!

the r7000 does not run kernel 2.4. and the ld.cache corrupt message is harmless. no rollback needed
