Router/Version: Linksys MR7500
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r61970 std (07/24/25) / Linux 6.6.99-rt29 #3775 SMP Wed Jul 23 07:04:30 +07 2025 aarch64
Previous/Reset: r61848 / no and yes
Mode/Status: Access point
Issues/Errors: After upgrade without resetting to defaults it seems to bootloop 3 times and then reverts to r61848. Factory reset, reboot and upgrade with do not reset simply reverts to r61848. Factory reset, reboot and upgrade with reset to defaults - upgrade succeeds. After inserting 32 GB USB flash drive, router reboots every 1-2 minutes (with USB inserted, but not auto-mounted). Without USB inserted it seems to work. If Panama is selected as domain, for 6 GHz channel only Auto is available. To summarize: problems with upgrade procedure, USB, wireless channels.
Update: without USB seems stable (2 hours uptime for now). Simply inserting USB causes router to keep rebooting (Core USB and USB storage support enabled).

My MR7350 has exact same troubles as in previous release.
Some devices or even bands (mostly 5GHz WiFi but sometimes also 2.4GHz and its VAP) wont trasmit any data. Status --> Wireless shows 0 for signal quality, SNR and RX then.
Rebooting fixes this often, sometimes several reboots or using the power switch is the only solution.

Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r61848 std (06/24/25), full reset
Mode/Status: Gateway (NSS-ECM), Access Point (2.4GHz-HT20 N/G Mixed, 5GHZ-HT80 AC/N mixed, 5GHZ-VHT80 AX/AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:UNITED STATES), performance governor, IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS/DNSMasq, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server + 2 Wired access points (2.4GHz-HT20 AX Only, 5GHZ-HT80 AX/AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:UNITED STATES)
Issues/Errors:
Did a full reset on gateway after update. On gateway, I couldn't get an IP address on br1 (guest network), with the same settings I had previously. On the APs, I was getting an IP on the guest network, but it was quite unstable, with my IOT devices disconnecting/reconnecting frequently. Primary wifi on both bands was okay. Gave up and rolled back to r61848 and restored previous config. I tried... _________________ Formerly dpp3530 Linksys MR7350

https://192.168.21.1/Networking.asp page doesn't load and locks the GUI...on it it shows WAN error 'code something'...
will add more to this post may be a klog and then reset and c if any different but.., last firmware 61954 was the same...after reset router is very buggy and difficult to operate either via GUI or ssh as connection drops
klog doesn't show much, but ntpclient repeats with no fun...
root@DL-WRX36:~# ntpclient 216.239.35.8
root@DL-WRX36:~# date
Thu Jan 1 02:12:46 EET 1970
did the reset on 61970, same issue, no ntp time, even basic config its not working...router ahead is ok...to me, it looks like problems with nss or physical interfaces...
revert to 61745 unit works as it should...
Eurika...found the footprint, as i said above, i suspect NSS..
so, i tested basic config on 61970 with SFE=3 and NSS subsystem enabled...and system back in action...NTP time was back and router operational..
On 61745 SFE is off NSS-ECM is off...if i enable those router hangs, but on 61970 presume 61954 too SFE=3 and NSS subsystem enabled...for router operation is a must !!

Kernel: "unknown" never booted
Previous/Reset: r61848 both without & with reset
Mode/Status: Gateway, OpenVPN server, FTP & NAS
Issues/Errors: "UPGRADE FAILED"
- Using the GUI all I got was the small dialog box with "Upgrade Failed" regardless of reset to defaults.
- Did factory reset on R61848 then tried to falsh again from GUI just resulted in upgrade failed.
- Restored saved configuration in the GUI, then switched to command line and tried upgrading from CLI. Router would crash and reboot while downloading webflash file with wget.
- uploaded webflash file to external USB then flashed from there. Router would immediately crash after webflash file was pulled into memory from external disk.
-tried erasing linux partition at CLI before flashing, no change.
Back to R61848.
Here are checksums of the dd-wrt-webflash.bin r61970 file for mr7500 I downloaded three times:

Twice now with this build, I've had smartdns stop working. DNS calls hang. Retarting smartdns works and services return. Is there an issue with smartdns or do I have a bad setting? Does this sound familiar to anyone? _________________ Linksys MX8500 DD-WRT v3.0-r62966 std (12/06/25)
