As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."
If your router's light turns red, don't worry. Internet connection is ok.
Thank you BS and gurus! _________________ Atheros

consider that alot of these updates are scripted and some are a litte bit delayed. dont watch trac or github for real live updates. the svn server itself contains the real patches. if i commit multiple patches within seconds it can happen that a old update script is still running. it will get updated later on next commit. i will not block my commits because of trac or github updates. it will block my internal workflow. _________________ "So you tried to use the computer and it started smoking? That's exactly what I've seen in the past, but the sky was obviously falling because the commits weren't visible at time of the release post. Seems to be visible now, crisis averted.

Linksys EA6400. On this device CTF module can't start correctly. I would rather use older version for good WAN performance. On the newest speed of wire internet connection is ~ 180 - 200 mbit/s. On other build is 550 - 610 (600+ option from ISP).

Previous: DD-WRT v3.0-r59887 std (02/27/25)
Mode: Access Point Only with 3 VLANS
Status: Working with issues
Issues: Drop-down values in Networking tab incorrect for Assign to Bridge
I am still seeing incorrect values for the drop-down values in the Assign to Bridge section. In the attached screen print, the current bridging table section shows the correct interfaces, however, the assign to bridge drop-down does not contain values for vlan10 or vlan30 for br1 and br3 respectively. I am also showing the values that appear in the drop-down list as another attachment. The values for vlan10.10, vlan20.20, vlan30.30 don't seem to be correct.
I realize that this may be only a cosmetic issue, but it would make it difficult to set up the access point from scratch if I had to rebuild it for some reason.

File/Kernel: Linux 4.4.302-rt232-st63 #14076 SMP Tue Jul 15 03:29:01 +07 2025 armv7l
Previous/Reset: r61745/no
Mode/Status: Simply a WiFi AP on the LAN
Issues/Errors: None noted, except...
When running a "Site Survey" on W1 or W0, I noticed the MAC addresses are truncated by one digit in the displayed information.
See attached. The final digit is missing from each MAC address.
I use the MAC address from the "Site Survey" when I want to connect to a specific AP as a client, so this information is very helpful to me.
Loading r61745 (older) and r61337 (older), without reset, the truncation is still evident.
Loading r60098 (Mar5 2025), without reset, everything is fine.
