The Dynalink is the secondary router that I wish to use to bridge some wired clients. The main router is an ASUS AX6000 running stock ASUS firmware. There are 2 other DD-WRT station bridges in other rooms that are running just fine (an Asus RT-AC66U and a Linksys EA6300).
I simply can't get the Dynalink to connect. I did try a hard reset (held the reset for 30s) and re-did all the instructions but still no luck. The main Asus is set to WPA2 Personal with AES (this is how it's listed on the stock firmware). On the Dynalink, I selected WPA2 Personal and checked CCMP-128 (AES). When that didn't work, I also checked all the other options but it's still not working. I also tried no encryption and that also did not work.
I know the Dynalink is relatively new for DD-WRT. Is this station bridge function simply not working yet? There were also a few steps in the instruction that did not seem to apply; do the instructions need to be updated?

For what it's worth, I had an old Netgear R6220 sitting around on stock firmware. I put the latest DD-WRT on it (dated Jun 5, 2025), followed the station bridge (routed) directions, and it is working just fine.
Since the directions worked for the Netgear, I suspect this is a Dynalink problem. I did also upgrade the Dynalink to the Jun 5, 2025, revision of DD-WRT, reset it, and did the station bridge steps again. Unfortunately, it still will not work.

Edited: DO NOT try r61848 as this build was not stable on my unit...try some other options...to connect 2 routers via wifi there must be some compatibility..
im sure someone else will point out a better direction to try out...in my case i stick to wired WAP instead of client/bridge via wifi..as well WDS is the proper way to connect x2 routers wirelessly.. _________________ Atheros

Sorry for the very delayed reply, I had several weeks of back-to-back work trips.
@Alozaros, highly agreed on using a wired connection whenever possible. Unfortunately, it is currently not practical to have a wired connection between these two routers. I just saw your update on not using r61848, I will update it to the latest and try again.
@kernel-panic69, I am attempting to use the 5Ghz wlan0 interface. Screenshot of the wireless security settings are attached. I have screenshots of all settings, but it seems this forum system only allows 1 attachment per message.
