I have done some searching and the DIR-X1870 is not listed in either the Supported Devices list or the Known incompatible devices list. I also searched the forum for any mention of this router and no results.

The DIR-X1870 support is End of Life and I want flash DD-WRT so I can continue to get security updates.

Has anyone attempted to get this router working? And if not, how can I go about testing this router myself to see if it will work? Is there a version from another router that may be compatible I could use?

I don't know how to check what processor it's using (broadcom/qualcom/...) so I am posting this in General.

DIR or COVR? What is the FCC ID? If it's either, that will also be a firm no for DD-WRT because they are both Broadcom.
