As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."
If your router's light turns red, don't worry. Internet connection is ok.

Just a quick heads up on this update.
I've got two devices:
- rt-ac68u updated no issues.
- r7000 after flashing fw instead of rebooting as expected it did not and instead it shown a 404 page on the web server and admin user could not ssh in like wrong user or pass (I was locked out).
After power cycle, the r7000 returned in good order.
Nothing dramatic, but surely enough I got worried to be forced to recover losing config and everything.
No need to underline I should have backed up the config: I'm just consciously taking the chance, waiting the first time it screws to refresh everything.

I upgraded a Netgear R7000 from version 3.0-r59156. Originally seemed like no problems, but then I noticed some options are missing from DHCP Server Setup in the Services > Services Tab.
"Used Domain" and "LAN Domain" are no longer under the options "Use JFFS2 for Client Lease DB" and "Use NVRAM for Client Lease DB" where they used to be.
I even reset the unit to factory defaults, no change.
Thank you BS and everybody contributing and please let me know if I am missing something.
Where did these options go?

They were removed. Use the option under WAN setup for domain.
@kernel-panic69: Thanks for that, I suspected this behaviour is by design.
Two questions:
Do you know starting from which version the options for "Used Domain" and "LAN Domain" have been removed? I did a search and could not find any info on the change.
Secondly, with these options now gone, how do I configure WAN setup so that DNS suffix on LAN clients is blank, like I had when:
"Used Domain" option is set to WAN & LAN, and
"LAN Domain" is left blank.

Last build with those options is 61613. I don't think there will be a way to keep that information blank / null. So either use the upstream domain or make one up.
