Netgear WNDR4300

Is anyone having an issue with UPnP on this build!?

Edit: I retried a few times just now and it worked each time.

Earlier I would get this error sometimes in qBittorrent v4.5.5 (64-bit) libtorrent 1.1.x Qt5 on Windows 7 x64.

6/28/2025 8:32 AM - UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping failed. Message: "could not map port using UPnP: no router found"
6/28/2025 8:32 AM - UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping failed. Message: "could not map port using UPnP: no router found"

Edit: In the Site Survey the last digit of the last octet of the MAC Address is missing.

Router Model Dynalink DL-WRX36
Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r61848 std (06/24/25)
Kernel Version Linux 6.6.94-rt29 #3563 SMP Mon Jun 23 08:44:29 +07 2025 aarch64

update: GUI r61745> r61848
reset: NO/YES
mode: Gateway/DNScrypt-proxyV2, AD-Block (via DNSmasq script & DNScrypt-proxy),IPset Firewall,Forced DNS,AP&Net Isolation,x4VLAN,40 HT 2.4Ghz only(Vanilla), Disable 121, ECM-NSS disabled
status: NON Operational
errors: Router doesn't work at all, it doesn't get NTP time, after reset it has problems with its switch...once you enable WAN, no GUI or telnet access to the unit...forced IP doesn't help...its only accessible after reset...and only with forced, IP then you can downgrade to the last known working build...
61745...tried to obtain logs but after reset this is impossible...

WAN light still in blink mode
CPU Clock shows only 1017 MHz

with lots of love and patience, was able to find my way back to 61745 and restore settings...

I do not recommend this build on Dynalink DL-WRX36

Main router? No longer using the EA8500?

yeahuh ...just put EA8500 back in a bit ago ...had a damn power blink and the 3400v4 ain't behind a powerBU ...so good time for me to swap back.
3400v4 done great.
EA8500 still on r60791 ...might prolly throw this build on it afterlater sometime today...got places to be now Twisted Evil
niether of the units have been reset in long long time.....

EDIT:
another reason --- I could put EA8500 in all good before that damnol WNDR3400v4 could get fully rebooted --- always was slowass startup but works well after running Razz

/* EDIT 6/29/25: Testing Last version which runs is r61202, r61238 and after do not seem to boot*/

Just Debricked (again thanks @lexridge and @kernel-panic69)

factory to DDWRT r61848
I am unsure if this is the router since it was just debricked. However, here are the booting logs from picocom after flashing factory-to-ddwrt.img

Flashed like normal, two times with r61848 (on recently debricked to factory)
both times router rebooted to factory image in my case

EDIT: looks like the issue.

Still not able to use any build after r60742 on my EA8500 that's configured as a second router/AP on my network. The EA8500 is wired to the gateway via its WAN port and has its IP configured manually (gateway x.x.x.1, ea8500 x.x.x.2, 862L x.x.x.3). Without any advanced configuration other than disabling the WAN and configuring IP/DNS/Gateway, NTP on the EA8500 does not get an updated time and the logs indicate it can't resolve the ntp server. If I connect the gateway through one of the LAN ports instead, it does see the gateway and ntp updates (but then I had other issues with IPTV devices seeing one another). Furthermore, enabling NSS-ECM with this setup will crash the EA8500 and will require a nvram reset. Reverting to build r60742 and all is well.

My 862L which is a third router on the network (AP disabled) is fine with a similar configuration with this latest build - in its case its WAN is connected to a LAN port on the EA8500. Difference is the 862L doesn't use DSA and still relies on swconfig.

FWIW, I do remember having an issue with the EA8500 with swconfig if the WAN port was put on the same vlan as the rest of the network and both LAN CPU and WAN CPU ports were enabled on the same vlan - had to deselect the WAN CPU. (I've since disabled vlans to try and simplify further).

Asus RT-AX89X-B1

Hi.

Jumbo frames stopped working.
I don't know from which firmware.

Some computers stopped working in the local network. They worked rarely, so the error did not appear immediately.
If you set the computer to the standard MTU, the error is corrected.

Router/Version: Asus rt-ax89x rev.B2
File/Kernel: DD-WRT v3.0-r61848 std (06/24/25)\Linux 6.6.94-rt29 #3566 SMP Tue Jun 24 08:39:25 +07 2025 aarch64
Previous/Reset: 61238\Yes
Mode/Status: AP, NSS-ECM-SFE, PANAMA domain, Advanced Settings manual 36 dBm on both radios, but show only 30dBm in GUI.
Issues/Errors: Yes. Nothing changes for me from build 61834. In this case this builds not usable for me.
After upgrade from 61238 to ANY new build (all versions tryed, including previous 61845), after reset to factory defaults, SSID 2,4Ghz not visible if I connected to 5Ghz. But if I manual disconnect device from 5Ghz, I can see both radios. If I connected to 2,4Ghz, 5Ghz visible. Very strange behavior.
Only difference what I found in GUI after build from 61238, that MAC address 2,4Ghz and 5Ghz the same in wireless tab in information string "HWAddr":
In build 61238 in wireles tab MAC's are different:
SSID [dd-wrt-5G] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EE]
SSID [dd-wrt] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EF]
In builds AFTER 61238 in wireles tab MAC's the same:
SSID [dd-wrt-5G] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EC]
SSID [dd-wrt] HWAddr [xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:EC]
So I have to stay now at build 61238 as the last usable buld with no issues for me.
Is there any advance settings that need to do, that the 2,4Ghz radio will be visible if I connected to 5Ghz or can it be fixed in future builds? My setup is almost basic.
Thank You!!!

Router/Version: Linksys MR7500
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r61848 std (06/24/25)
Kernel: Linux 6.6.94-rt29
Previous: 7 june version
Update Method: WebUI
Mode/Status: Gateway Partially working
Reset: yes
Setup:
WAN Connection Type: DHCP. unstable ( fixed adress dissapears)
Shortcut Forwarding Engine: NSS-ECM, QoS: Disable
Wlan0, Mesh/802.11s 5.0 GHz AX-only 80 MHz WPA3
Wlan1, AP 2.4 GHz N/G Mixed 20 MHz WPA2
Wlan2, AP 6.0 GHz AX/AC/N Mixed 80 MHz WPA2

So result .Two options:
Wanport is active but LAN ports are not relaying traffic.
Wanport not in use: Lanports relaying traffic from temp Asus dhcp and wan connector.

Current Bridging Table
Bridge Name STP Interface
br0 no lan1 lan2 lan3 lan4 wan wlan0 wlan0.1 wlan1 wlan1.1 wlan2

You can get around the I/O error thrown by the reboot command on R7800 after the flash's been completed by running the following commands:
Code:
echo s > /proc/sysrq-trigger
echo u > /proc/sysrq-trigger
echo b > /proc/sysrq-trigger

They will perform [s]ync, [u]nmount and [b]oot.

Linksys MR5500

For giggles today - I attempted to flash again today in case I had a fluke
r61848 same thermal issue. However, I captured a more complete boot sequence with my ch340.

FROM r60771 - flashing r61848 - rebooting - thermal issue - reboot sequence - back to r60771

I hope this may help / the ch340 logs sequence. I am not expecting miracles, only giving raw data to best of my current understanding.

Has something in dnsmasq changed to where this script to launch custom instances no longer works after upgrading to this build? Is there a new kill command or something else that needs to be done? I had to revert but would love to upgrade.

Code:
#!/bin/sh

# Stop main dnsmasq
stopservice dnsmasq
killall dnsmasq 2>/dev/null

# Start custom dnsmasq for br0
dnsmasq --conf-file=/opt/dnsmasq/br0.conf --pid-file=/var/run/dnsmasq-br0.pid

# Start custom dnsmasq for wlan0.1
dnsmasq --conf-file=/opt/dnsmasq/wlan0.1.conf --pid-file=/var/run/dnsmasq-wlan0.1.pid

# Start custom dnsmasq for wlan0.2
dnsmasq --conf-file=/opt/dnsmasq/wlan0.2.conf --pid-file=/var/run/dnsmasq-wlan0.2.pid

# Start custom dnsmasq for wlan2.1

Minor issue 2.4GHz LED still does not blink anymore since many builds ago

2.4GHz WiFi LED does not blink but 2.4GHz is working !!

A workaround for this:
Disable "Network Mode" at 2.4GHz and click Save & Apply and
Wait a while till 5GHz LED starts to blink than Enable "Network Mode" click Save & Apply
Voila and the LED is working again.
