Welcome to Broadcom r61806 beta release thread for reporting, feedback to developers & community benefit.
Please do not flash builds until installation is understood, risks involved and device specificrecovery methods.
Avoid discussions, create threads for questions, general problems or use search; this thread is not for support.
List router model & version or revision, operating & wireless modes & exact filename/firmware image flashed.
CLI Flash: 'cd /tmp' then 'wget {file URL}' (httponly) or 'curl -O {file URL}' (http, https, ftp) 'write {file} linux' then 'reboot'.
Issues, observations, and/or workarounds reported:
• WebUI: Clear history or use a portable. Temporary cache bypass: Ctrl+F5, Cmd+Shift+R or new private window/incognito.
• Please report findings with steps needed to reproduce, configuration, clients, output, logs and important information below!
Important:
• Detail issues & relevant configs, logs: syslog klog 'dmesg' 'cat /tmp/var/log/messages' nvram set console_debug=1, serial.
• Firewall NAT: 'iptables -vnL' 'iptables -t nat -vnL' 'iptables -t mangle -vnL' & 'cat /tmp/.ipt'. Debug Analyze: stracetcpdump.
• Gremlins: reboot. cold boot. Reset & reconfigure not restore backup. Search Trac & discuss in forum before opening tickets.
• Include operating & wireless modes (e.g. Gateway, Router, AP, SB, WDS, Mesh) and applicable configurations to reproduce.

As always, the Quantenna chip has its own quirks. This is a closed source chipset
There is no way to install a channel.
But you can disable 5.0 GHz. @mpgalaxy hack "If you set the radio mode to station bridge and disable the network mode, the 5GHz device will turn off completely even after reboot."
If your router's light turns red, don't worry. Internet connection is ok.

Mode: Internet gateway, WIFI 5GHz AP, smartdns with DoH, iptables firewall, Sshd
Status: Working
Issues: Nothing significant, some yellow marked events in logs
Uptime: more than 5h
All services on device working rather good. GUI starting faster after reboot. CTF is usable now without problems. I'm disable STP for br0, usally I haven't many workstations connected so it's rather nonsens.

Workaround by adding 1440 to Lease Expiration, /tmp/dnsmasq.conf will change to this
if in hostname user write wrong sign like: ()_ etc. DHCP don't run after restart router
similar with field "Lease Expiration"

Ive very random results one flashed one not, changed the same lease time settings and didnt want to flash again...i haven't tried reset and then flash...to see if it will boot...or bootloop..
so far, x2 units flashed x1 not...one has lease time as empty space, no infinite or numbers...but flashed ok..will keep digging when i ve time..reset is the next step..
p.s. Im not gonna try to flash my R7000 as it doesn't have TFTP... _________________ Atheros

I would also add that the problem with adding Wireguard peers still exists.
I add (10th) peer, save the configuration (Apply), select "Make Peer Config" and the router reboots and the configuration is lost.
