|
Can anyone clarify the purpose of the "WAN Port Assignment" setting in GUI/Networking? I have one router (Linksys MR7350 build 61465) set up in station mode with wlan1 being the "station" link to the master router, but by default that setup does not set "WAN Port Assignment" to wlan1. It leaves it set to "wan", the interface for the WAN ethernet port on the rear of the router.
Should I change WAN Port Assignment to wlan1?
Or is the meaning of WAN Port Assignment instead something to do with the internal ethernet switch?
How should it be set for a router in station mode?
Things do appear to be functioning fine with it at "wan", but still I wonder, esp as I notice that the "wan" interface is included in br0. _________________ On 61465: 3x Dynalink DL-WRX36, Linksys MX4200v2, 2x MR7350.
