I upgraded from version r59429 to r61542, and here’s what happened:

Initially, I installed the new firmware without resetting my configurations, but the Wi-Fi networks completely disappeared. After that, I performed a full reset (r61542), manually reconfigured everything from scratch, and the Wi-Fi networks reappeared, though the speed was noticeably slower.

However, the main reason I rolled back to r59429 was that my PC connected via LAN was unable to download anything—I couldn't even run a speed test. The test froze mid-process and stopped. Additionally, webpages like Google loaded extremely slowly.

When I reverted to version r59429, everything was back to normal.

Has anyone else experienced similar LAN-related issues with r61542?

If only you had reported this in the correct thread instead of in Atheros. Split out so maybe someone sees your post. There's another release that was just posted. I haven't made the jump from 60523 yet on my WRT3200ACM. Other priorities.
