If your router's light turns red, don't worry. Internet connection is ok.
Channels 12 and 13 are missing
Incorrect rate of wlan0 - 800 Mbit/s!
Even the weird Panama hat doesn't help
Thank you BS and gurus! _________________ Atheros

Kernel Version: Linux 3.18.140-d6 #234828 Fri Mar 28 08:57:42 +07 2025 mips
Updated: from r60502 via CLI
Reset: Yes
Status: Working OK as AP, NG Mixed, HT 40
Issues: exactly what KACTET said. Most important ch. 12 and 13 are still missing. As a side effect, due to my crowded wifi environment I'm forced to use ch. 1 which gives me 18 dBm max power. With ch. 13 I had 21 dBm. _________________ Router:TP-Link TL-WR841ND v11

Previous/Reset: DD-WRT v3.0-r60502 std (03/27/25), last reset on r60098
Mode/Status: Gateway (NSS-ECM), Access Point (5GHZ-HT20 AX/AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:UNITED STATES), performance governor, IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS/DNSMasq, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server + 2 Wired access points (2.4GHz-HT20 N/G Mixed, 5GHZ-HT80 AX/AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:UNITED STATES)
Issues/Errors:
Up 5 hours. USB 3.2 stick working properly for Entware and "jffs" partitions. Speed, wired and wifi, is very close to published, which is equal or favorable to the ISP router - tested via nPerf.com. Wireguard and OpenVPN servers both working as expected and throughput sufficient to open video files on network shares. 5GHz showing 27dBm (set to 30dBm). 2.4GHz showing 28dBm (also set to 30dBm).
After reboot, 2.4GHz devices took a few minutes before they would connect. Connecting from Windows, it wouldn't accept the password. After about 5 minutes, they connected normally. 5GHz was unaffected.

Worky real fine till few minutes ago. Lost interent. Could not reach router by webif or ssh.
Had to do a power button off/on. All came back just fine but I can't put up with that shit so I booted back into part 2 which has reliable r59171.
Imma prolly 'bout done with new bulds for a while. If I wasn't here it would be broken till I got back to the homeworld.
Custom DNSMasq's X 4 (Involves killing DNSMasq at startup and launching a separate instance for each interface)
SFE only, to make GUI Bandwidth monitoring somewhat useful.(A side effect of hardware acceleration)
WireGuard.
QOS - WAN, HTB, FQ_CODEL (VAPS set to Bulk and that's it)
Reset never in a long long time.
Everything just works except for "can't fork: Out of memory" for a couple scripts, which had no issues prior to r60467. Surely a Kernel change, but why must we limit these "super" routers (compared to old tech) to this process limit.
Other than that, it just works and I had to add some process limits to some scripts. Never any random reboots, never any can't connect issues, it just works.
Wishes: Put the process limits back to where they were.
Thank you for such an awesome firmware to turn these consumer routers into freedom of what we want them to do. _________________ Linksys MX4300

If you have Entware installed, you could try installing BASH and then change the first line in your script to use bash and not ash. No idea if this will work, but maybe worth trying it. Once bash is installed, you must type "bash" to enter the bash shell in order to test it.
ie:
Code:
#!/bin/sh
change to:
Code:
#!/bin/bash

Issues/Errors: Unsolvable DNS problems. If left at default, DNS 192.168.1.1 does not work, but even if manually set 8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1, 4.4.4.4 and 1.0.0.1 does not work. Result: does not browse at all. Anger and wasted hours... Solutions?

Settle down entitled cowboy. You can always go back to your stock firmware. Please don't act; as you already did, that you are entitled to a better firmware from many dedicated people whom express valuable information to the dev, that in turn, develop what you think is owed to you. Learn how and what a router is first,then please by all means, help develop; works for every router, forward and backward, firmware. Your tone sucks and needs matched, so what solutions to your problems are you offering help? _________________ Linksys MX4300

I would say that what you are nervously mumbling about me you should actually write about yourself. Before you talk nonsense, connect your brain.
