If I posted this question in the wrong forum, my appoligy.

As I learn how to use SSH management, I realize additional protection is needed for my X86_64 DD-wrt system.

I like to implement the Elegant Way of protection. Is my understanding correct?
1. Create the rate_limit chain by running the set of commands in the Admin Command shell
2. Save the rules for the input chain in the Firewall.

Please advise,

Brute force protection is already well-covered in current release, including limiting connection to services on the Security -> Firewall tab.

I saw something like this in syslog.

Mar 24 20:06:09.528 CP101 authpriv.info dropbear[11344]: Child connection from 193.32.162.136:55488
Mar 24 20:06:09.668 CP101 authpriv.info dropbear[11344]: Exit before auth from <193.32.162.136:55488>: Exited normally

so I ran them using Putty, one line at a time. What should I do now? Not sure how to remove these rules.
