I have a Netgear R9000 and just loaded a stock verison of DD-WRT v3.0-r60098 std (03/05/25).
Ethernet network connectivity works fine when I manually set my laptop to a specific LAN IP address.
DHCP does not work for either wired Ethernet or WiFi
I saw a post on the forum that suggested that I change the Wireless, Basic Settings, Allow Channel Overlapping to Enable for Wireless Interface wlan0 [5 GHz/802.11ac]
I did so and both the 5Ghz WiFi and the wired Ethernet connections now have DHCP Server function.

i don't know where you read that, but it's complete nonsense.
The feature has nothing at all to do with DHCP and should remain deactivated for the 5GHz!!!
The feature only filters the channel selection in the GUI and only displays valid channels for selection. _________________ Quickstart guides:

Well that is difference between what you believe to be true and what I have tested and seen with my own eyes. When I booted up the stock verison of DD-WRT v3.0-r60098 std (03/05/25) firmware. I had no WiFi and only was able to have Ethernet connectivity to my laptop if I manually defined an IP address consistent with the router's definition of the LAN. There was no DHCP service from the router.
When I change the Wireless, Basic Settings, Allow Channel Overlapping to Enable for Wireless Interface wlan0 [5 GHz/802.11ac] DHCP services magically appeared on both wired Ethernet and on 5Ghz WiFi.
I have been doing DD-WRT for a while. Instead of telling me I'm crazy, suggest how to isolate this further so the developers can fix it.
