Router: Linksys ea8500 ... WDS Station
Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r59582 std (02/09/25)
Kernel: Linux 6.1.128-rt28 #530 SMP Mon Feb 3 06:12:04 +07 2025 armv7l
Reset: YES after GUI upgrade from r59171
Mode: 2.4 GHz only .. Firmware type VANILLA ..SFE Disabled
Errors: No reconnection to AP with virtual interface added
Where we are at: After upgrade GUI came back and it showed a network connection but I was unable to connect to my WDS AP. I then did a manual reset, entered my settings, disabling my virtual and rebooted. Instantly I connected to my AP with internet connection. I then added back my virtual WDS AP. Rebooted and no connection to my WDS AP again. I then tried my virtual as just "AP" and rebooted with no AP connection. I then disabled virtual, rebooted and instantly connected. Any help here would be appreciated.
EDIT: Rolled back to r59171, added my VAP and all is well again. Guess I`ll park here for a while. _________________ ......All GOOD here... Just Handshakes and Time Stamps !......

It would seem this bug is persistent across most routers now. With later builds (and even some older ones on a hand full of routers) WDS seems to now be exclusive and cannot have VAPs attached to it.
I tested this on a MR7350 Station(WDS) wlan0@5ghz. Added a VAP (wlan0.1) to it, and bam, no more WDS connection. Removed the VAP and all is good again. _________________ - Linksys EA8500: I-Gateway, WAP/VAP 5ghz only. Features: VLANs, Samba, WG, Entware - r60xxx

Status: Stable.
Issues/Errors: None.
Thanks @mlandi and @dplotz for identifying and diagnosing the IP address problems for wireless VAPs over the past few builds. Earlier IP address problems for MX4200 v1 are now fixed - unbridged 2.4GHz guest network is now working again. Thanks also to mods for sending emails up the chain, and to @brainslayer for the fix. MX4200 v1 range and throughput have improved in this build. Leaving radios at region Panama for the time being, but will keep monitoring.

Mode/Status: Gateway (NSS-ECM-SFE), Access Point (5GHZ AC/N mixed, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:PANAMA), performance governor, IPV6 (DHCP6 w/ prefix delegation), Entware, DOT via SmartDNS/DNSMasq, OpenVPN server, Wireguard Server + 2 Wired access points (DD-WRT firmware, 2.4GHz, 5GHZ, WPA2/WPA3, 802.11r/v/k, guest network, domain:PANAMA)
Issues/Errors:
Up 6.5 hours. USB 3.2 stick working properly for Entware and "jffs" partitions. Speed (tested via nPerf.com) is very close to published, which is equal or favorable to the ISP router. Wireguard and OpenVPN servers both working as expected and throughput sufficient to open video files on network shares. 5GHz showing 27dBm (set to 30dBm). 2.4GHz showing 28dBm (also set to 30dBm).
Thank you Brainslayer, the guest VAPs are now working as expected! _________________ Formerly dpp3530 Linksys MR7350

@dplotz:
Since I'm debugging my MR7350 related WiFi "Problem" ("Spurious quick kickout" messages under load, until devices cease to work at all (only 5GHz modes higher than N only 5GHz).
There are no similar messages in your syslogs at all?
It is enough to start a local iperf or visit nperf.com for a test and the log gets those messages for at least two devices of mine in 5GHz WiFi, until I reduce to N only.
I'm not sure how to proceed, since some devices of mine work flawless with higher modes, but all devices were working without such problem on my old netgear R7800.
