No joy with my WRT3200ACM. Still no WAN access with this build.

Did anyone think to check network interface settings? Interface names changed. If eth* was retained in the webUI, it may require human intervention. Also, the Switch Config tab was removed, so any VLAN configuration requires changes. Screenshots are worth 1000 words.

In my case, it is not easy to capture the screen.
But I found no eth0 ip for WAN only, those other NICs worked normal including oet1.

I did not config any VLAN.

Try ifconfig wan up via telnet or ssh. That's the only thing I can think of that could be culprit without testing it myself. I am sending email regarding this as we speak.

Also check the Networking tab and make sure the WAN Assignment is correct. Also the Basic Setup page and make sure the WAN is not disabled there. This could have carried over since it's common now on other routers.

WAN disabled is not carried over to Marvell AFAIK. I noticed some code changes that were 'incomplete', namely the line in the sysinit that brings up the WAN (wan, formerly eth1). What is now line 140 used to read
Code:
set_hwaddr("eth1", mac);

https://svn.dd-wrt.com/browser/src/router/services/sysinit/sysinit-mvebu.c?rev=59866#L124

not true. the interface wan is up. but it has to be considered that any special configuration involving interfaces like eth0 and eth1 must be fixed by the user to use wan and lan1 lan2 lan3 lan4 interfaces now. if you harm eth0 or eth1 it may break ethernet support

i tested dhcp on wan on a wrt 3200. no issue as it seems

i enabled dhcp and the wan interface got a ip. so please provide more info about your wan configuration (this is entirely missing here)

its tested. it works. (unless you made custom configs using eth0 and eth1. interfaces are changed now)

this is correct. eth0 and eth1 are not used and should not be used anymore. the new interface names are wan, lan1, lan2, lan3 and lan4.

if you configured something manually to use eth0 or eth1. please change it to use the correct interface names

I had same problem with no WAN when I updated yesterday.

Today I reread the posts and in SETUP -> NETWORKING -> INTERFACE SETUP -> WAN PORT ASSIGEMENT I set the value to wan. Had to do a reboot afterwards but otherwise all started fine.

@WENED: Thanks for the confirmation. I knew it was going to be something simple, regardless of my erroneous thoughts on the code changes. The defaults probably didn't change for that page on reboot, so human intervention required. I just didn't have time to shut the business side of my network down to investigate myself.

this is not true. i tested wrt3200acm. its working. fix your config as i told you and follow the instructions if your are using a old wrong config. in worst case. reset your config to defaults. you have old wrong configs in your setup. i will look if i can convert old configs in next releases.
