Access restrictions policys won't work. "Filtered Packets 0" mDNS should be blocked and AnyDesk/TeamViewer....
I dont think they are fully operational...
did you do:
-List of Clients
-Interface to block...
-Status - Enable
I also did an experiment on my R7000...and...same as always...it is parsing rules to the DNSmasq in regards to custom rules...but, the operation of dpi and risk rules are questionable...
I also did a test and selected lots of rules (dpi) facebook, microsoft, telnet and others than saved&apply+reboot and tried few on my PC and it can open those with no problem...so..not restricting anything...in regards of those dpi rules i selected... _________________ Atheros

Have done nothing, cause it worked on this Version (03_26-10-2022-r50671_netgear_r6700v3) without any issues.
Previously i've redone the complete configuration from the scratch of another issue, OpenVPN "could not determine ip4/ip6 protocol" in the past with a VPN provider, the Solution was to put the NTP TimeServer not by FQDN/DNS Hostname, needed on Startup the plain IP to work. Hard to find the solution
Anyway, i also tried to "block" the standard Services (http(s), ftp, ntp, pop, smtp, tor...) as you had, no effect....
uuuuuuuuhm yo -> hmmm.. this needs time...and effort.. and commitment, i just dont have the first one...time
And yesterday Interface Any switched to LAN, no effect...
